Foundation for sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin?

What is the best foundation for sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin? I have tried Almay Clear Complexion Makeup but my skin becomes itchy sometimes when I put it on. Please help me.

Thanks!Foundation for sensitive, acne-prone, oily skin?
I would try the Bare Minerals .....it is really great and gives good coverage. They have a good try me kit offer going on for 60.00 but QVC also carries Bare Minerals and they have a starter kit for like 45.00 and they offer the same policy if you do not like it you can simply return it within 30 for your money back....

Here is the Bare Minerals site for the try me offer . You will love the brushes ....I really think they are great...

Also, even though you didn't ask ..I did want to tell you about the Aspirin Mask and it is really good and I use it even though I don't have acne but it just makes your skin feel really good. And you can use it maybe three times a week until you get it under control and then just maybe once a week. I usually take about 4 or 5 Aspirins and just put a few drops of water in with them to make a little paste and sometimes I add a drop of honey or you can add a drop of Aloe vera ....wash your face first then apply the mask and let it dry then take a damp cotton ball and gently rub all around your face...then rinse .... Here is the exact mixture for it and a website you can go to and read more about it. It is really great for your face. I have a 16 year old son and if he gets a zit i just mix this up and apply it to where he needs it ....he doesn't like it but he does like the fact it makes it go away fast ...

';The aspirin mask is a homemade BHA mask available to each and everyone of us, totally inexpensive and highly efficient, made of salicylic acid or tablets of aspirin. BHA is known to help tremendously with cleaning pores from deep inside and therefore contribute to keeping our skin blemish-free. BHAs are efficient on existing blemishes as well, by helping them heal faster and keeping pores clean afterwards.';

This mask is good for all skin types, especially normal to oily and combination skin, acne-prone and clogged skin.

';Basic preparation: 1/4 tsp. salicylic acid (ask for it at pharmacy, if you cannot find it, then crush 3-5 tablets of plain aspirin instead), distilled water. Mix the powder with the water until it becomes of a creamy consistence, apply on clean dry skin (focus on T-zone and sides of the nose). Keep it on until completely dry. Take a small cotton pad, wet it lightly and begin scrubbing the areas covered with the mask, making small circles. Finally, rinse with plenty of water. It would be excellent to apply a calming mask or a hydrating mask first, followed by your regular moisturizer. Skin will be left completely smooth and even.';

If you're in the US (they don't ship outside the US as far as I know), Aromaleigh is a mineral foundation that is excellent - I think it's better than Bare Minerals - better color choices, no tendency to turn orange like Bare Minerals, no greasiness or sliding off, and you can get samples cheap. Plus, a lot of people have a reaction to one of the ingredients in Bare Minerals (maybe bismuth something?) and it's not in the Aromaleigh products. They have a formula for oily skin called Voile and they have a mattifying primer - both are quite good. Link below.
to rid yourself of acne -pro active is the best product that I have used, it has first an abrasive cream to remove dirts and oils than a benziol (sp) peroxide and than a moisturizing cream to finish it off. if you do this for 2 weeks your skin will be acne free,

*follow directions

*use the night mask

*your skin will be sensitive so avoid sunlight if you can

-hope that helps

when looking for a foundation look for ';WATER BASED'; NOT ';OIL BASED'; as this will irratate your skin more than a water based solution. avoid the makeup as much as possible and start a skin care regimen for best results
Nothing is best for your skin. Nude skin can breath and isn't covered with impurities that get into your pores. Throughout history women (and sometimes men) have used what are basically poisons on their skin because it was fashionable, or trendy, or culturally smiled upon. Part of your breakout problem is the makeup itself and the bacteria that lives in it.

Drink more water, and eat less fat and sugar, get plenty of sleep and exersize, avoid junk food, processed food and sweets and your skin will naturally improve.

Mary Kay's mineral powder foundation is the absolute best out there! Everyone who has tried it with me has bought it. It is oil-absorbing, and it covers very well. All of Mary Kay's products are safe for sensitive skin. One of my customers has extremely sensitive skin, but nothing of Mary Kay's causes a reaction. Visit my site if you're interested...http://www.marykay.com/bsenseney

edit: Another plus is that it's less expensive than a lot of other brands out there. With the brush it's $28, then only $18 for reorders since you already have the brush.
Neutrogena is the way to go. It helps your complexion by fightin acne also. I would go with powder because it helps absorb oil and keeps it dry. Loreal bare naturale minerals is also worth a try good stuff as I have used both and it doesn't bother mine.
bare minerals!!! omg what a life saver. i have tried them all. clinique, mac, chanel, estee lauder, etc. nothing looks more natural and covers as good. at first i was so skeptical, but i thought what the hell? one more wouldnt hurt. and im so glad. ill never wear anything else!!! sephora.com, has a 60$ kit. and when you order from sephora you also get freee samples of other products. anyway hope you give it a try. you ont regret it. since it has no chemicals, i dont even break out anymore. it just helps me out so much. and my skin never looks oily.
Sounds like your skin is sensitive. Just make sure your foundation says Hypoallergenic. Otherwise, it's not the makeup that will cause acne, but the lack of throughly washing it off. Make sure your washing your face really well at least twice (morning and night).
Try Beauti-control. Their foundation is wonderful for your skin type (I have the same type). You can't buy it in stores so check online. The foundation I use is called ';secret agent';. It cost about $15-$20 but it lasts a really long time.
what i do it put the almay powder on underneath and covergirl powder on top. i use a powder brush for both

don't forget to mostruzie first!
try a mineral makeup like bare essentials, i use it and it works. just stay away from liquid or oil based foundations.
BARE MINERALS!!!!! A little expensive, but SO worth it. You can get it at sephora, it's like $60 for the starter kit.
use neutragena (sorry spelling) it kind of smells different...but thats cuz its all natual and organic!
Arbonne
try clinique or bobbi brown products..
