Salt water for oily skin

I have heard that washing in salt water can help with oily skin. If so i have some questions:


What sort of salt is best?


How often should i do it?


Should i rinse my face in plain water afterwards?


Can i apply an acne face lotion afterwards?

if you live by the sea then i would just go in the sea a lot because that helps mine, if not exfoliate and be sure to wash your face every day!

Hmm I wouldn't do that because salt is really drying and may contain iodine which is really irritating to the skin. I would just stick to the toner.
