Sunscreen and oily skin?

Before I start tennis practice after school, I always wash my face then apply sunscreen since I have very oily acne-prone skin. But my friends don't do that. Since the sunscreen is non-comedogenic, Is it necessary to wash off all my makeup/oilyness? Sunscreen and oily skin?
If i had to answer i would say yes because my sis is 15 and she tried it with the make up on and she rubbed the make up deeper in her face and her face got worse. but when she started washing her face before she put on sunscreen her face got better.





But you probably look good with acne or no acne. just saying.
