I have oily skin so I use moisturizer sparingly. Even if my face feels good when I first apply it, if i have anything to do that day the oil seems to take over. A quirky little off-the-wall thing I started doing just a few weeks ago was using Dasani bottled water on my face. I use a cotton ball to pat my face with Dasani in the morning before I put on any make up and then again at night after I have removed my make up. My face has felt great and I have much less irritation from the cleansers and less break outs.Does moisturizer make your skin oily?
Not necessarily. It depends on which moisturizer you use, but all skin (even oily skin) needs to be moisturized.
I have oily/combination skin and use Neutrogena's ';Moisture';, which is non-oily and hypoallergenic, and is made for combination skin. It's really light, and just moisturizes and doesn't leave a greasy film on the skin (hey, Neutrogena should be paying me for this! Lol).Does moisturizer make your skin oily?
Moisturizer comes in different forms. Some are lotion some are creams. If you have acne you should ONLY us lotion and if you have oily skin stay away from creams.
You should never skip moisturizer no matter what skin type you are. I use a lotion that is OIL Free!!
its hard finding a moisturizer sometimes but I enjoy the Clean and Clear moisturizer. Its perfect for my skin. Oily of Olay is not a good one in my eyes. All the girls in my family break out if we put it on our faces even when we buy the oil free brand.
Good luck to ya!!
some do. it depends what your skin type is and background.
No, but using an oil based moisturizer on oily skin can make skin look even more oily. Every type of skin needs to be washed, toned and moisturised but with the right product, right the amount and the right way.
if you have oily skin you dont need a moisturizer most likely, but they do make non oil base moisturizers.
