I have oily skin and applying sunscreen makes it look super duper oil and greasy . I havent really found any sunscreen or for that matter even moisturizer which is really oil free and non greasy .
Does anyone know any good sunscreen for oily skin.Sunscreen for oily skin?
I know that this isn't sold everywhere but look into Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SPF 55 (the 30 and 45 are no good). It may not help with your skin's natural oiliness but the product itself certainly isn't greasy and oily; its matte when you put it on (unlike Coppertone or Banana Boat, etc.).
*The SPF 30 %26amp; 45 only protect against UVB rays. The SPF 55 protects against both UVA (aging, tanning) %26amp; UVB (burning). Reason for this is, the SPF 55 contain both Avobenzone and Octocrylene in its active ingredients list. The SPF 30 %26amp; 45 only contain Avobenzone; no Octocrylene. Avobenzone is intended for UVA protection but it degrades upon contact with light. Octocrylene stabilizes Avobenzone and thus, protection against UVA is satisfied.
Hope that wasn't confusing :) but that's why SPF 55 is better.Sunscreen for oily skin?
Mary Kay has moisturizer plus sunscreen...great stuff!!
Try Jergens...non greasy formula
do you mean face, body or both?
Have you tried www.murad.com? I really like their products. Their pomegrante moisturizer is oil-free and smells pretty good. I'm planning to buy their oil-free sunblock when I'm done with the one that I'm currently using.
Gel-based is the way to go.
Sephora has a great selection.
Neutrogena has some great sunscreens for face that don't make you greasy. Try that.
The only sunscreen I would use on my face is Neutrogena *dry* touch sunblock. It comes in an spf 45 I think.
I saw a very fair coworker applying it one day at work. She *never* looked oily. I asked if I could try it. It was very silky, not sticky at all. When I put it on it was the only sunblock I had ever felt that felt like bare skin, not gunky.
I hate that gunky feeling. I mean honestly what century are we in? and some are still basically zinc and oil... nasty.
Anyhow I loved the neutrogena dry stuff.
Good luck.
try something that is oil free
