I have oily skin, open pores, sometimes blackheads, and it does glisten after a while. But if I use lotions with alcohol on it, or just wash it with water, no soap, it becomes red and dry immediately. It becomes tight, then it start ripping, and large flakes of skin go off, and I have ringworm like patches all over it, with peeling off skin.
Thus it is not exactly oily, and not exactly dry. I thought - maybe it is sensitive? But then all the products I see are made for sensitive dry skin, and mine is not.
What skin care products should I use (for what type of skin)?Dry/oily skin?
Dont listen to amateurs...just go to a Dermatologist. Its the most sensible thing you could do.Dry/oily skin?
Skin problems may occur even due to climate change. Oil control creams and face packs are also available. For more suggestions refer the site below.
You have combination skin ... for face wash ... try Cetaphill Gentle Skin Cleanser ... for toner use Alba Hibiscus Facial Toner o ryou can skip this part .. I do ... for lotion use Ulta Extremely Gentle Moisturizer for Sensitive Skin SPF 15 ... for oil control use oil blotting sheets ... try Clean %26amp; ClearMorning Burst Oil Absorbing Sheets to touch up during the day ... hope this helps!
You can control oiliness, large pores and blackheads without destroying your skin with alcohol. Alcohol will dehydrate your skin and remove important lipids that make skin a barrier agaisnt the environment. Alcohol will also remove lipids that make up the cell membranes system. Cell mebranes are the basis of cell function because they give the cell and its compartments permeability properties that are fundamental to life.
Try the salicylic wash from Skin Actives Scientific. If you want faster results, try the alpha/beta exfoliator.
Good luck and best wishes

I have sensitive and oily skin and I use Neutrogena Foaming Cleanser, or you might want to try Cetaphil cleanser.
It sounds so simple, but I would go and get a facial. This time of year is hard for the skin. Seasonal changes are hard for the skin to adapt to. You need a brand new start for your skin. I agree with the other posting...start off with cetaphyl. It is an affordable gentle cleanser. At least you would be able to disolve some of the oil. I would use some sort of an enzyme exfoliating mask. DO NOT use the St. Ives exfoliating scrub, since you have bigger pores. Not to mention, that will rip your skin even more. Try to find a daily moistuizer for oily skin that is matifying or try a moisturizer for sensitive skin. Good Luck!
