How to get rid of oily skin?

my face is shiny because of the oil in my skin i want to get rid of it i have a few pimples like 3 my hair is greasy and damaged so im gettin a haircut please help oh and im entering school in 4-5 days

besides washing your face daily which im sure you do if you want to cover it buy make up the powder kind you know the one with the little cushion in it i get cover girl now when you put it on don't pu on loads just to cover up all the shiny-ness carry it around with you and apply it when you go to the bathroom but remember to always wash your face at the end of the day because if you don't it will clog your poors and you will get more pimplesHow to get rid of oily skin?
there really is no way to rid yourself oily skin. oil in your skin is controlled by your sebaceous glands. if you want to control over active oil glands try seeing a dermatologist who can treat you with prescription drugs. i am not big on pumping your body full of chemicals to do that, but that is your choice really.





another way you can control oily skin is by washing your face at night with a cleanser that contains salicylic acid, a good one to try is neutrogena oil free acne wash. also you should apply a sheer oil free moisturizer daily to help control oily skin (yes skin can get even oilier if you do not moisturize. lack of moisture causes your glands to work harder to moisturize the outer layer if skin.... which can lead to clogged pores and acne).





however, look on the bright side....oily skin acts as an internal moisturizer so really you will not be very wrinkly when you get older. it's kind of a blessing in disguise!
