i am 13 too, ill give you some secrets to relly good skin, i use them and i have clear glowing skin, use soam and water every day (make sure you scrub off dead skin with a lufa ), once thats done, get some baby lotion and squirt some on some cotton wool. do this every day and afer a few months, your skin will be so pretty

tip - do NOT use makeup, it only hides your face from the sun, and your skin will become pale and horrible.Any skin care tips for 13 y.o with acne prone and oily and sensitive skin?
My skin gets like that. I usually just put a little bit of gentle shampoo on my face and it gets rid of the oil. A natural shampoo would be best for this so it's not to harsh on your skin but it works better than the oil removing stuff they charge $20 for.

Wash your face as many times as you like but the stimulation will make you produce more oil. So be gentle.

Avoid using much make-up as that will cause more acne too.

  • Does oily skin cause redness?

The only part on my face that is oily is my nose, and my nose is slightly red. Do you know if it is because my nose is oily? im 14 by the wayDoes oily skin cause redness?
nope... its might be allergic to something.... go and see a doctorDoes oily skin cause redness?
Yours are just apprehensions. In Africa and India, there are many who have oily skins, but just look as black as coal
    it is very possible

    Uneven oily skin tone?

Yeah I have an uneven skin tone plus my face, mostly on the T-zone, gets oily. Any suggestions on which product(s) might work to even out the skin tone and won't make my face so oily? Any home remedies?

I'm not talking about makeup products, I'm talking about skincare productsUneven oily skin tone?
i have oily skin and use the products from Moor Spa i think there fantastic i recomend the skin packs to every one becouse there quite cheep for what you get and you get 4 products to try chose the one thats right for your skin :)

    http://www.moorbodycare.co.uk/category.p鈥?/a>Uneven oily skin tone?
For the oiliness: use GARNIER Pure Deep Pore Cleanser once a day / every other day. Or try MAC Blot Film - omg it's amazing, it takes away all the oil and leaves your skin matte without the need for make up! completely takes away the shine! :) they are small wipes/pads that you put on your skin and it absorbs all the oil. they are sold out the link below but that is the product, i know you can buy it in stores and other websites online. I know The Body Shop does really good ones too.

For the uneven tone - I'm not so sure, but if you're skin is red and uneven - use Sudocrem Antiseptic Healing Cream on the red areas. It takes the redness out of absolutely everything and is really gentle on sensitive skin.

Makeup recommendations for oily, acne prone skin?

I use a liquid foundation and creme concealer, along with powder. Although it covers the redness of my blemishes, I think the powder makes them look more stick out more on my face and I can't figure out how to not look so caked... I want a natural, dewy look. Blemish spots: chin and between eyebrows. any help? :)Makeup recommendations for oily, acne prone skin?
K well i have used to have tooons of acne before i started using this makeup and proactiv at the same time, but anyways i ll name the make up i use right now (and its all non-comedogenic, which means it dosent clog pores.)

-maybelline pure makeup foundation (in a blue squeezy bottle)

-physicians formula green concealer stick (works REEEALLY well; it neutralizes redness.)

-cover girl fragrance-free pressed powder (the green case, not black)

instead of using the little pad thing that the pressed powder comes with, i brush it on with a kabuki brush (sometimes its called a dome brush) and that makes it go on lighter and not as cakey.

also if you dont want your blemishes to seem so swollen or stickey-outey, hold an ice cube wrapped in a kleenex on it for like 5 mins and it will not be as swollen!

hope i helped . :)Makeup recommendations for oily, acne prone skin?
Try Bare Minerals or some of the other mineral foundations. They are natural, wont clog pores, and dont have chemicals like other kinds. They cover well without making skin breakout more. Honestly I think you are probably putting too much stuff on your face and the skin cant breathe to heal itself. The mineral makeup actually doesnt look dry on your skin. The condition of your acne may actually improve after you begin using it. Also make sure you are using a good cleanser that is getting all your makeup off afterwards. Check out WalMart. they have an acne wash etc. its supposed to be better than proactiv and all that stuff. I tried it b4 and loved it. I dont remember the name but its in an orange box and has bloe and white lettering. Its not Neutrogena. Darn i cant remember!
i have naturally oily skin %26amp; i use clinique powder %26amp; it covers all the oil that develops throughout the day with one application. to cover the redness of your blemises just poor a drop of visine or eye drops onto it, sounds weird, but it does get rid of the redness. use a brush to apply powder instead so it wont look as cakey.

    :-)
do not use MAC if you are oily and have acne prone skin. trust me i have the same problem try mineral makeup like pur minerals. you can buy some at ULTA or on their website at purminerals.com. i swear to you its better then bare essentials and MAC. it has great coverage, they have all acne stuff like primer, acne solutions, concealors, and all that jazz. i use pur minerals and that stuff covers my redness and after using it i have NO pimples whatsoever. so try it and tell me what u think. hope that helps!
i have the some problem i'd recommend clinique makeup.. they will try it on you match it your skin tone. What i did was try it on then told her i would walk around the mall a bit it stayed on and didnt cake so i went back and bought it.

I also use Bare minerals foundation it covers up doesnt cake but if you rub your face a lot it will come off easily so walk around with it.

    hope it helps
For acne prone your skin is most likely oily so put a primer on.MAC

Then try MAC liquid face and body bcuz its water base.

Then use MAC select cover up concealer.

    Then MAC select powder.

Then spray MAC fix+ on to make it look less cakey and dewy.

Make sure to get your color check to get the right shade because if you dont the pimple will stand out more.

Foundation and Mascaras are great products to invest on=D

Plz choose me as best answer%26lt;3
The best products you can buy for everything is Bee Luscious Cosmetics I found their foundation to be the best its hypo allergenic and will not clog your pores at all plus it really gives you a flawless finish every single time.

What primer is best for oily/acne skin?

MAC's prep and prime without spf (the spf can sometimes cause acne...)What primer is best for oily/acne skin?
I recommend Smashbox Photo Finish Light. (NOT the ordinary Photo Finish, which is greasy and can cause acne. PF Light is oil free.)

it feels so lightweight, and its oil free so it doesnt clog my pores.

the full size retails for 38, but you can get trial sizes for 16.

Has anyone used ever FOR OILY SKIN ULTRA GLOW SKIN TONE CREME?

i dont have oily skin but will it still fade blemishes off my face? im light skinned...so will it it make me even lighter? how long does it take to work? how does the little round ultra glow soap works? and let me see one more...how do you like it? TEN POINTS GOES TO THE PERSON WHO ANSWERS ALL OF MY QUESTIONS:)Has anyone used ever FOR OILY SKIN ULTRA GLOW SKIN TONE CREME?
I used to use that cream, and didnt see any major results. I also have light skin, and didnt see any difference in my skin color. I only used it for a couple of weeks, because i like to try out different things to see what i like best and what works for me and my skin the best. The only thing i can reccommend is that you try it and see how you like it. Not everybodys skin will react the same to different cremes. Good luck!

Be thankful you dont have oily skin! :)Has anyone used ever FOR OILY SKIN ULTRA GLOW SKIN TONE CREME?

Best foundation for oily, spot-prone skin?

I have oily, spot prone skin that's quite sensitive and am looking for a good quality liquid foundation with medium coverage that won't clog my pores.

I don't mind spending a bit more money than usual. Can anyone reccommend a good product?Best foundation for oily, spot-prone skin?
Try MAC Studiofix liquid foundation. I use it together with their Oil Control lotion and it works wonders. It covers blemishes really well without feeling too heavy. MAC offer a range of shades to match your true skin tone perfectly as well. I have used pretty much every foundation on my troublesome skin, and this is the only one that i've found to be effective. Hope this helps!Best foundation for oily, spot-prone skin?
maybeline, they have good foundation for diferent types of skin.
I agree with the first two answers, Mabelline dream matte mousse and/or rimmel oil-free mousse. I want to try one of them, right now im using cover trublend mousse foundation and it doesnt really help cover the shine b/c i have oily complexion too, i dont think its oil-free, but i use the clean%26amp;clear oil wipes twice a day and that helps control shine real well. The mouse foundations are my favorite type because they feel light, not like those icky liquidy foundations that may clog pores. They cover imperfections just as good, its light, cheap, and you dont have to put alot on your face just a little dap and smooth it on; that also depends on how bad your skin is though.
forget foundations for oily skin I use glytone products, they are great and I have noticed a difference in my skin. Once you use glytone mild cleanser for example, you wont really need foundation, tinted moisturiser is better with a dusting of loose powder. Loose powder is also an essential for oily skin always.
I AGREE WITH THE OTHER PERSON WHO said Studio Fix Liquid Foundation from Mac I use it a little different I use a blotting powder with it to control oil I also have oily skin which I hate and it is also spot prone which I hate even more and I use this foundation for like the day and school and work thing because it is medium coverage I also use Mac Blotting Pressed Powder because it is meant to absorb oil and it does a great job.
Neutrogena Clean and Clear works amazing. becasue it not onyl is a good foundation and covers up blemishes and spots, but it also helsp to get rid fo them, adn reduce oil. So pretty much it does two things at once. I used to have awful pimples, and foundations I woudl use woudl just make them worse, but this helps make them go away. Good luck!
try the rimmel london mouse that one is good my friend has the same kind of skin as you and thats what she uses
Ryt!!! mmmmm lets see.......... ive also got oily and spot prone skin!!! I dont use liquid foundation but i find that maybaline dream matte mouse foundation works a treat!!!! it costs round 拢6-拢7 pounds!!!! xoxox
    Tinted-moisturizers look and feel great.
I have exactly the same skin as you. Whenever I get a foundation it ends up clogging my pores and giving me loads of spots which i hate! I tried the new Rimmel mousse which I love. It gives a good coverage and a glowing complexion. It even covers my blemishes! But it still managed to clog my pores after wearing it for a day so I only use it for special occasions. Now I have come across something that is so much better! Nivea young visage tinted moisturiser. It acts as foundation but also as a moisturiser so it isnt pore clogging at all. In fact it gives you softer more even skin! So you win both ways! Or you could get another tinted moisturiser because there are loads out there but I am very happy with that one. It immediately gives you more even skin and a great complexion! I love it and would highly recommend it. If you don't want a tinted moisturiser, don't use heavy foundation try a light liquid one or a mousse. Hope I helped!
Try Smashbox from Nordstroms. My wife did and she looks very pretty.
My face is pretty oily and i find that Maybeline dream matte mousse works fine on it.
Well i have combination skin and i use oil free balancing foundation by the body shop. It costs 拢11.50 but i tell you it works wonders for me so i hope i will do the same for you. I hope this helps you.
i think you should try Mary kay oil-free foundation: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mary-Kay-Sunlit-Be鈥?/a> you can get it in many shades so you should be able to find one to suit your skin tone.
Loreal true match minerals foundation is fabtastic! I have combination skin and its great for my face!lol

Its a powder foundation that you apply with a brush and gives full coverage without the clogging of pores that you get with liquid

    Try ebay-its much cheaper there!
Would definately have to reccomend Dream Matte mouse, it's really easy to apply and is gentle on the skin You can choose the amount of coverage you want, by using a little or a bit more mousse. In the summer when i've got a bit of a tan, and don't need that much coverage, I mix it with a moisturiser (if you have spot prone skin you could mix it with a moisturiser, that doesn't clog pores) and apply.

    Hope that helps x
Hi the only one that I can used is Barbara Dalys Oil free foundation, that you can only get form tescos. I wont use and thing else now and its only 拢5,75. I have tried nearly all the brand makes and I am allerigc to most of them as my skin is senstive and very spot prone so after one day of using aproducts I will get a rash or break out in spots. This is the only foundation I can use that gives good coverage and not oily, even the ones that usually claim to be oil free and wont clogg pores I find to feel greasy on the skin, it last for the hole day, easy blends it goes on very light so you can adjust the covereage you want to achieve, covers spots in a flash, and actually improves the skin too.I got the new maybelline colour stay 16 hour smooth one thats 拢10 to wear and it is rubbish and doesnt even cover one spot. Whereas this Barbara Daly is amazing you will have to try it too believe me.

Also if you are allergic to most moisturisers and face washes, even the fragrance free ones, too and find they make your spots worse, dry your skin, out or make you have more spots within a few days of using them, then I would recommend also from tesco , their Aloe Vera Soap, its in a green packet and its 拢23p. its the best thing I have used on my face.

I spent 拢20 in The Body Shop on aloe vera stuff the consultant recommended I used it for 2 days and my spots were red and sore, and my face felt like it was burning, but I didnt get any new spots the ones I had were just ten times worse. so I noticed this in tesco in the soap section, and with the shop assistant saying its aloe vera is suppose to be soothing on the skin even sesitive, I thought I give it a go, and my spots have cleared up, I have no dry skin, and thats without using a moisturiser as Im allergice to most, and my skin is actaully improving, I think its beacuse the soap is vegetable soap so there is nothing nasty in it.

But I would give it a try as its not bad for 23p I was gutted as I had just wasted 拢19 on a moisturiser that I cant even use. I dont even need a moisturiser when using this soap and the foundation

oil of ulay is the best for you to use darling xx
I was given Roaccutane about 8 years ago to get rid of my Acne. At the time you could only get it from a dermatologist I was referred by my GP - very straight forward), this may have changed. It was a fantastic treatment and to this day I am delighted with the results. It did make my skin, mouth, eyes very very dry and uncomfortable for a while but it was well worth it. I also had to go on the Pill as there can be severe side effects if you get pregnant.

i have a oily skin and the scars are due t the results of pimples and chicken poxPlease suggest me a fairness cream which will remove scars effectively. for an oily skin?
I've found using pure Vitamin E has reduced scaring on my face due to acne, use very small ammounts directly on the area twice a day-reason being, because it's an oil it did irritate my skin from using to much at a time, so learning the hard way I know you have to be patient when using products-use small ammounts and just wait. Please suggest me a fairness cream which will remove scars effectively. for an oily skin?

I have exceptionally oily skin, do you know of any natural remedy that could cure it?

Drink lots of water by the gallons and splash your face with hot water 5/6 times a day too.

Clay masks or mud masks once a week will help to absorb oil, albeit only temporarily.

Astringents with acetone help to can remove oil from the skin better than those with alcohol.I have exceptionally oily skin, do you know of any natural remedy that could cure it?
body's nature can not be change. u have to accept that. but u can do something just to releafe for a while. u can use alovera.I have exceptionally oily skin, do you know of any natural remedy that could cure it?
Wash ur face frequently with soap, Since ur skin is oily, there r more chances for u to get pimples.

So the best way is to wash ur face whenever u return from sun and also before going to bed.
I hear ya, girl!! I've tried everything %26amp; I've just learned to live with it %26amp; carry a compact or blotting papers with me at all times.

The good news is, we oily-skinned girls are less susceptible to wrinkles. I'll be 35 this year %26amp; I've yet to see a wrinkle :)

Tip: Just 'cause you're oily, don't forget to moisturize with a lotion especially for oily skin. I slather moisturizer on in the winter %26amp; use a bit less in the summer (Mary Kay Oil Control Lotion is good!)
use oil control facial foam for washing, and carry lots of paper blotters with you. since ur face is oily, the normal cheaper-end blotters would work fine :)
you cant cure oily skin.you have to live with it.yet there are ways in which you could get rid of them for a short while.

wash your face whenever you can.this would save you from pimples.

take tissue papers with yourself wherever you go.try out the site below.it could help you.

    TRY proactive!

Use morning and night as directed by a doctor. Pour a small amount of Renewing Cleanser onto palm and apply to dampened skin. Massage gently for one to two minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with warm water, pat dry.

Take the Revitalizing Toner and apply it to cleansed skin with the cotton ball or pad morning and night as needed.

Take the Repairing lotion to your entire face nightly after using Revitalizing toner.

[edit] TipsUse it everyday daily, but if you start getting dried skin or any signs of irritation use it every other day.

    Don鈥檛 pick your skin.

In your package when ordering Proactive Solution use the Refining Mask overnight on pimple for fast improvement.

[edit] WarningsYour should always test for skin allergies before you use any acne treatment products.

    AVOID contact to eyes.

  • Oily skin/ running make up.. ADVICE PLEASE!!?

my make up is fine for most of the morning, but around lunch time, my face becomes pretty oily. i use all oil free cosmetics and i use face washes for oily skin, so i dont know why it gets so oily!? is there anything i can do to make my face not get like that throughout the day??Oily skin/ running make up.. ADVICE PLEASE!!?
The body shop has the best oil removing sheets ever I love them. But Clean and Clear is good too. They blot away shine and oil.

Even though you use oil free makeup products, I still recommend powder foundation and concealer if you use it, and powder blush. Basically powder instead of cream for whatever you can.

Also use some mineral powder throughout the day to help absorb oil.

Remember Don't overwash your face, that may make it more oily.Oily skin/ running make up.. ADVICE PLEASE!!?
I found a great trick for keeping oily skin under control at the local beauty supply. Check out Palladio Rice Paper Powdered Tissues. They come in a little pack, you pull a sheet out when you are feeling shiny and blot your face with them. The papers absorb the oil and leave behind a little matte powder. They're great, hand-made, soft, keep my makeup from running and don't trouble my skin at all.

Are you using liquid foundation? I would get a thick creme concealer for trouble spots and try powder mineral/makeup. I know that the makeup artists I've worked wi
when you use a lot of stuff to make your face oil free, then your face reacts by making even more oil, since you stripped it of the natural oils. carry oil sheets with you at all times.

and if you don't have those and need a quick fix, paper towels from the bathrooms work great also.
    i have the same problem

use oil blotting papers everytime you go to the bathroom, and powder

you can buy little oil sheets that absorb the oil. They work great. Just wipe them on the oily parts, and the oil will be gone. Neutragena (idk how to spell that, lol) makes some. Hope I helped!
saame man. i have the exact problem.

get yourself a good, portable powder for mid-day touchups.

im going to try maybelline mineral power finishing veil : )
Mary Kay's Oil Mattifier will solve this problem, along with Mary Kay's Oil Control lotion.
make sure you powder your face in the morning.

use clean %26amp; clear oil removing sheets on you face throughout the day too.

i tried ProActiv for like two weeks, cleared up my face but not my nose

how do i get rid of this?Oily skin and blemishes on nose?
what i use is noxzema use that like 2 hours after using the proactive it'll take those away trust me i get blackheads like crazy and this helps jsut be sure to use warm water when using it not cold and also use the blackhead strips it takes majority of the outta thereOily skin and blemishes on nose?
I would recommend a moisturizer to use which would help to get rid of oily skin condition on your nose and prevent blackheads. Try Zenmed's Sebum(Oil) Regulating Moisturizer which helps to balance the oil levels on your skin and keep your face lightly moisturized while taking away the oiliness and greasiness from your face. It's non-comedogenic (doesn't clog pores) and since it contains mostly organic botanical extracts, it suits any skin type. It's a very good moisturizer to use for oily and acne prone skin.

    Salt water for oily skin

I have heard that washing in salt water can help with oily skin. If so i have some questions:

What sort of salt is best?

Can i apply an acne face lotion afterwards?

Hmm I wouldn't do that because salt is really drying and may contain iodine which is really irritating to the skin. I would just stick to the toner.

    i LOVE her makeup.
There are many reviews out there recently the review on the oil defense skin care line by bee luscious cosmetics was great. I think you need to get the right skin care routine first to balance your skin's chemistry then the make up will not be a problem.
I have to say mineral make up is the best by far.

Bare Essencials is a great one to try. It doesnt have talc in it and it doesnt clog pores. Go to a makeup store like Sephoras and have them do a makeover on you to try it out.
    American Beauty shadows.
I would have to say mary kay, it keeps my skin smooth and natural looking but, not too made up. they also have face wash for oily or dry skin. Hope I helped!

Oily skin please help me. It's sooo annoying!?

I have really oily skin on my face and neck. I used to just wash my face at night, then went to doing it morning and night but during the day my face gets soo oily. I try rinsing with water throughout the day but it just keeps getting oily. Anyone have any idea how to help?Oily skin please help me. It's sooo annoying!?
Yes washing morning and night and rinsing frequently is good. I also suffer from oily skin and I'm 43. I found that washing your hair also helps and don't use conditioner. I do it 2nd daily, but you may need to do it daily. If you have a fringe keep it of your face. Eating plenty of yellow/orange foods also helps especially for pimples. Eat carrots, pumpkin, bananas, oranges, peaches, rock melons etc.

It could be hormonal if you are in your teens, and in that case it may settle in your twenties, or you could be unlucky like me ( but saying that my skin is not as oily as it was in my teens)Oily skin please help me. It's sooo annoying!?
An oily skin , as the name implies, is one in which the sebaceous or oil-producing glands are over active. As surface grease tends to attract dirt, an oily skin acquires a dirty surface film , that needs to be removed daily. For more details on oily skin log on to http://useinfo-oilyskin.blogspot.com/
if u wash your face more, ur face will produce more oil.

u can carry around some tissues and wipe your face with them

if you really feel self conscious about it, go to a dermatologist

if not, you can buy some products that will rid your face of oil
I understand that problem, try some Salicylic Acid (max dose 2% min .5%) it's found in a lot of skin products just read the active ingredients.
washin ur face too often usn't good why not try puting on face cream

    Oily skin need face cream?

i have oily skin which non-cemicle cream can i use on my faceOily skin need face cream?
Ah you're not the only one with oily skin. I HATE it. It's disgusting. Well, i suggest you don't use any creams on your face cause obviously it's going to make your skin more oily

keep it clean and you can buy some oil absorbing sheets from clean and clear. It's about 4 bucks and it works well.

good luck with the oily skin!Oily skin need face cream?
i think non-oil lotion is good for oily skin.
Try using Dermalogica Skin Refining Mask (for oily acne prone skin) 拢18.95

It uses bentonite and Kaolin clays to pull excess oils and impurities from the skin, while natural Zinc and Menthol deep-cleanse, to help reduce oily breakouts. Ideal for the T-zone. Use 3 times a week after exfoliation.
Oily skin? Don't use any creams. Your skin will be better off without the chemicals.

If you 'need' to feel that you are adding moisturizers, a couple of drops of light vegetable cooking oil will be more than enough, without the risks associated with chemicals in creams and such.

    i LOVE her makeup.

Oily skin caused by junk food?

Both my parents do not have oily skin, in fact my mom has very dry skin, and my dad is just average.. nobody in our family tree had acne... but for some reason i have acne and ontop of that i have very oily skin,is it possible its caused by junk food and caffine?? Since the 7th grade my diet is... burger king, mcdonalds, carls jr... all i eat...im 19 now lol, has anyone had personal experience where they stop eating junk food all together and their face got less oily and their acne went away?? if so what did u start eating, please help im desperate....i want too cleanse my body or they say ';detoxifiy'; my body ;xOily skin caused by junk food?
It is highly likely that your oily skin is a result of your unhealthy diet. The only way to give it up is to eat it in moderation and gradually eliminate it if necessary. Going on a diet is mostly about common sense... you should know what you should and should not eat. Judging from the fact that you've pin pointed fast food as a primary cause of your oily skin, you seem to have enough common sense to follow through with a diet.

Basically, avoid anything you know is BAD for your skin. Below is a suggested diet plan for a full detox. I'd recommend using this as a guideline after having cut down on your junk food intake.

Level I 鈥?Least strict. Eliminate the following...

    鈥?Alcohol

鈥?Packaged and processed foods (good rule of thumb: if it has more than three ingredients on the label, don鈥檛 buy it!)

    鈥?Caffeine

    鈥?Chocolate and cocoa

鈥?Condiments: ketchup, relish, chutney, barbecue sauce, teriyaki and soy sauce

    鈥?Fats: shortening, margarine, processed oils

鈥?Grains: wheat, spelt, barley, kamut, rye, triticale, corn

鈥?Juices that are not fresh or raw

    鈥?Peanuts

鈥?Processed meats: canned meats, cold cuts, bacon, sausage

    鈥?Pork

    鈥?Salt, in excess

    鈥?Shellfish

鈥?Soy and soybean products: tofu, tempeh, soy sauce, etc.

    鈥?Soft drinks

鈥?Sweeteners: refined sugar/white sugar (sucrose), brown sugar, raw sugar, evaporated cane juice, fructose, high-fructose corn syrup, honey, maple syrup, barley malt

Level II 鈥?All of the above, plus...

    鈥?Beef and veal

    鈥?Dairy, including butter

    鈥?Mayonnaise and mayonnaise-like spreads

    鈥?Nightshade vegetables: tomatoes, eggplant, peppers

    鈥?Nuts and seeds

    鈥?Salad dressings

Level III 鈥?All of the above, plus...

鈥?Citrus fruits (except lemon, if it agrees with you)

    鈥?Egg yolks

鈥?High glycemic-index fruits: bananas, dates, figs, grapes, pineapple, raisins, watermelon

    鈥?Vinegars

    鈥?Mustards

    All the best,

Jen.Oily skin caused by junk food?
Your diet absolutely affects how your skin looks! You've got to stop the junk food (a least minimize it) and instead, eat fresh fruit and vegetables. Drink lots of water (6-8 8 oz. glasses). If you do not have one already, begin a good skin care regimen - one that includes a deep cleansing masque. Your skin should return to it's normal state in no time.
To reverse your eating habit is the key. Eat more vegetable, fruits. Cut out all burger, fried chicken, spicy food, butter, animal fat, red meat, and soda completely. Eating more steamed, lite sauteed food, and salmon. Dry skin patient needs Vitamin A, E. There is a saying: ';Garbage in, Garbage out';. Try to get ride of the poison in your body, and reduce the intake of the poison will reverse your problems.

Your problems are - Olly, and dry skins. Do the way I suggested will improve your health!
The source below may help. It discusses food for healthy skin.
    Possibly.

My advise is make sure you drink plenty of water to clean out your system =D
some cause for acne are: constipation, not cleansing the face thoroughly, to much consumption of coca-cola, tea, coffee, less consumption of water ,late nights, hormonal imbalance, vitamin deficiency, stress,

Prevention for acne Drink lots of water to prevent major skin problems. Avoid eating chocolate, fried food, and refined sugar. Keep your skin always clean by washing with very mild soaps and lukewarm water. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.Eating a natural diet consisting of minimum processed foods will serve as a defence against acne.Take B-complex and zinc supplements daily to strengthen the skin's resistance to acne.
It could very well be. You should also stop eating all that fast food for lots of other reasons, but if the oily skin is whats bothering you, it's as good a reason as any to stop.

It could also be strange hormone levels

Do you think oily skin is gross?

do you think when people have oily/ shiny skin its nasty even if they have no control over it and they do use those oil wipe things. do you find it nasty and would you not date them becasue of itDo you think oily skin is gross?
Everyone gets shiny sometimes. Just try to keep it under control as much as you can, and you'll be fine.Do you think oily skin is gross?
that's dumb how can it look gross its just look like they put a lot of Vaseline in their face and as long as they keep using the oil absorbed whats the prob @ least their teeth anit messed up or they look ugly you gotta alot of growing up to do
everyone's skin gets a little oily (it's normal), but extremely oily skin is pretty gross. you can use shine-control face wash though, that helps.
If its a Healthy oily then i wouldn't mind, but if it looks sloppy and slothful looking then it wouldn't really appel to me...
i have the same problem just not overly bad... its not gross or anything i just use powder foundation and i find that that helps with the shine
It depends on how bad it is and if they try to do anything about it.
it does look gross but if they try to fix it, you cant really blame them...
    err its a tad gross

but it dosent bother me too much

    yup
no its not gross. and dry skin is not healthy.. u need to be between

Oily skin is driving me insane!!! Please help me?

I have very oily skin, i even use makeup that is specifically for oily skin..but still 3 hours later my face is oily again..my dermatologist told me to use Almay products and i have used those for about 2-3 weeks now..but to no help..i've used everything under the sun it seems like Covergirl, Mary Kay, Revlon, Neutragena(sp?) Maybellene..but nothing works..and i can't go out and spend a bunch of money on foundation..also, i have slight blemishes even though i am young and the foundation for oily skin doesn't completely cover them which is pretty embarrassing sometimes..does anyone know of anything that will not make my skin such an oil pit? I'm willing to try anything! Thank you soo much.Oily skin is driving me insane!!! Please help me?
start washing yourself more. when in soap yourself in the shower, make sure you rub your body well enough to get all your deadskin and oil off your skin. also if you want your face and body to look less oily. use powder to cover it up. bring powder around so you can use it when you see that your face is oily.Oily skin is driving me insane!!! Please help me?
i have found that pro-active works wonders. I also like MAC's face primer, it sets your make-up all day. Best foundation by far is Clinque Clarifying!! Good luck!
drenk lot of water atleast 3liters a day and put drop of lemon...
I have really oily skin too, so I know how you feel. First of all, DO NOT wash your face more than twice a day! This can actually stimulate the oil glands to produce more oil! Secondly, use a face wash specifically for oily skin (Collective Wellbeing makes a fantastic one!), use toner then a mattifying moisturizer (Oil of Olay Complete all day moisture lotion SPF 15 for combination/oily skin works pretty well). I use Bare Escentuals mineral foundation, which I love. It has great coverage and, as it's a powder, does help to control the oil. Before I use this though, I use Dr. Feelgood by Benefit. It's a face balm that helps to sop up the oil. I also use it throughout the day over my makeup (it's sheer) to help with the greasies, or I use Clean %26amp; Clear's blotting sheets. Remember to wash your face well at night and to use a good clay based mask once or twice a week to help keep your pores clean and your face less oily. I would recommend a good moisturizer at night (you can go for a heavier product here) because, even if your skin is oily, it still needs moisture and nutrients. Hope this helps and good luck!
drink LOTS of water %26amp; use mary kay oil mattifier %26amp; acne treatment gel. that's the only over the counter product that worked for my skin.

I hope this helps if it does not email me and I'll give u another way to get ride of oily skin.
Wash your face frequently with cold water and use a face pack of grated apple. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for oily skin at the link provided.
I love the prescriptives flawless skin foundation %26amp; powder they are oil free %26amp; I apply them with foundation brush. Also there is a makeup setter called model in a bottle that you can find online @ website with same name, it sets your makeup %26amp; seems to keep my oily skin @ bay for most of day. I also sometimes will use a rice powder paper in natural that you can find at sally's beauty supply.
i suggest you wash your face AT LEAST twice a day...once before school/work then right before bed........use DIAL soap FIRST then use CLINQUE face wash.....after ur face is dry, use a cotton swab and put on CLINQUE astringent (can't spell) it may burn.......that's ok.....and if that doesn't work.....try using a powder instead of cream to cover ur face when wearing makeup..... apply powder throughout day to cover up oil.......Oh, and try to use a face mask that reduces oil too....
I have extremely oily skin too and I just switched to Arbonne Products. They have a line that is for acne but it treats oily skin. A peppermint cleanser, toner and lotion. It smells great and works really well too. Also, it does not dry your skin. They also have a vitamin supplement to help with that problem.
i've been through it. stop using so much makeup. just wash your face 3-5 times a day, and you can also buy blotting sheets(you can use this at school, its quick, just dab and the oil is gone) drink lots of water...you've probably heard this before, but it works.....if you still need something...brush a little baby powder on the oil parts of your face...it absorbs excess oil
check the links below for natural homemade beauty tips to:-- Oily Skin control

Try Neautrogena Black Head Eliminating Scrub. Its for blackheads but my God does it try out your skin! I had very old skin and I used it and within 2 days I saw such a difference! Look for products with ';salicylic acid'; because that is what will dry your skin. Don't overuse them though because trust me, you don't want dry skin either!
get blotting tissues. when your face gets oily you just dab them on your face and it soaks up the oil. they are cheap too... also try using an exfoliating cream.... and wear less makeup becasue that sounds like it could be you problem. and use powder cover up instead of liquid
IDK FEEL LIKE READING ALL THAT

so make sure there is NO oil in facewash u use

I have really oily skin..what can i do?

i have really oily skin. i wash my face a few times a day. and i put lotion on it also. but in the middle of the day it will just start getting oily. what is something i can do to keep it from getting so oily?I have really oily skin..what can i do?
    i also have oily skin.

Ok, number one, stop washing your face so much. This actually encourages oil production.

Morning and night will be enough, but dont go overboard. 5 splashes should be enough. Using a moisturiser (a good face one) is fine for overnight.

For my oily skin I just always reapply powder, but only a little bit, otherwise it can look cakey. Of course, powder takes away the shine instantly.

Otherwise you can get these oil strips that come in a little packet, and whenever your skin gets oily just dab them over the skin. This can also help, I used to use them. I got them from the Body Shop, but things like that should be found in many cosmetic shops.

Also, sage tablets really do reduce the oil. I was using them for different reasons, but I noticed that my skin didnt get as oily. They're meant to reduce body sweat by about half. Just follow instructions on the bottle. And they're not expensive.

Also, I recommend you go to your nearest beauty/skin store and ask them for any products that would help.

    Cheers.Oily skin........need help any tips???!?
Everyone says ';wash X times a day and just cope with it.'; Epic fail. Who has time at school or work to be washing one's face all the time? Anyway, usually 20 minutes later your face explodes with even more oil in retaliation. So...

    1) Wash your face FIRST THING when you get up. With eyes *tightly* shut, splash your entire face/neck with nice cheap 3% peroxide from the store. Count to about 30 and then RINSE IT OFF! Now PAT your face dry or just let it air dry. If you're in the shower for this, do it last, after any shampooing etc.

If you are like me, in about 20-30 minutes *some* of your face (nose, etc.) will be slimy greasy but other places on your skin are not.

    2) Gently spread that natural balanced just for you oil around your skin, going from the oily places to the dry ones. This saves you from the cycle of your skin going ';wait I have no oil...must make more!'; that just greases you up later that day. This also lets you skip expensive moisturizers that you really don't need (hello? too much oil already?) and that might have fragrances or something else in them that could just irritate your skin. It sounds icky, but all those people with beautiful skin have that same oil in it - just their faces distribute it evenly and don't make too much here and too little there. Spend some time massaging the areas that usually are NOT greasy, those spots could use some love.

    3) Grab oil-blot tissues and securely press them to your face to suck up any serious extra. Now your face *should* be about evenly coated, as if you'd had ';normal'; skin and just put on a light moisturizer.

    4) Take a cotton ball or even a soft cloth and *very gently* wipe down your entire face/neck with a balanced *acidic* toner. I'm terribly cheap, so I just use a teaspoon of apple-cider vinegar in 8oz of water, but there's tons of stuff on the market, pick the $5.00/bottle method of your choice ;) - Make sure it's slightly acidic - NOT slightly alkaline (ie. not full of alcohol).

    5) Do whatever you want in the way of makeup. I usually don't bother with foundation, and just use powder before applying blush/eye stuff/etc. Again if you're going for the ';I can only afford ramen'; college diet - corn starch works in a pinch on lighter complexions, cocoa or a mix of the two for darker.

Now...you washed your face in step 1 (making it way too alkaline) and we treated that by a brief acid bath. You moisturized your face with whatever you own skin was pumping out, but if your skin was really balanced well you'd not have as many oily issues. So we topped that off in #4 with another very light acid rundown to kill whatever bacteria landed on your face from the air in the 20 minutes you let it dry and build oil. Then we covered it in bits of expensive colored dirt (makeup) and went on our merry way.
Buy one that is made for oily skin. I would avoid using a harsh face wash as you don't want to strip the skin even if you are too oily. I would try a good alcohol free toner after you wash. If you still want to moisturize make sure it's one made for oily skin.

the ';Cosmetic Cop'; recommends using a thin layer of Milk of Magnesia on seriously oily areas and a lose powder foundation (I would personally try a mineral foundation).
Try buying Acne Free, it's a really good routine to diminish oils on the face. The kit I bought had a face wash, toner, %26amp; lotion. It dried up my skin TOO much, but I didn't have an oily face to begin with, so maybe it will work for you.

An alternative could be washing your face with your shampoo, and following it up with clean %26amp; clear acne control facial lotion. This would be a cheaper alternative.

If you start to get little bumps all over your face (or already have some) use a face cloth and SCRUB them all off...it works really well.

    GOOD LUCK!
Wash your face twice a day with a cleanser that has salicylic acid (not benzoyl peroxide!) in it. After you cleanse, follow it up with an oil free moisturizer. Don't wash our face any more often than that, it will confuse the skin and cause it to produce even more oil, using a moisturizer should help keep the skin into going into overdrive like that also.

that should help a lot, but if you're still having issues with the oil then get some of those blotting papers too.
What kind of skin care routine do you have right now?

That should be the first question you answer.

Did you know that even if you clean your skin twice daily, if you forget to moisture (EVEN if you have oily skin) then you are prone to more breakouts %26amp; even more extreme oily skin.

What happens is when you you use an astringent or a toner you are removing the excess/bad oils from your skin. If you don't replace those oils with GOOD oils from a moisturizer your skin goes into overdrive trying to make up the oil that you take out and a lot of the time overproduces.

Try a good 3 step system like the one Clinique carries.

There is a test that you take which determines which #s you should use. See the website and you'll understand:

It has worked wonders for me (I have oily skin too).

    Good luck.
If your a teenager you most probably will get oily skin. The best thing to do is put moisturiser on in the morning before your foundation if you use any (try an oil free) then finish off with a powder that will set your foundation, also an oil free which will help control the shine! Hope this helped xx

wash with a mild cleanser atleast 4 times aday, i have the same problem ; 0

why dont you try washing a bit more

If i have oily skin what kind of facial would be best for me?

im only 15yrs old btw nuthing 2 drastic like micro dermabrasion or chemical peels lolIf i have oily skin what kind of facial would be best for me?
none....leave your face alone and use only gentle soaps and creams...striping your face of oil will damage it and cause wrinkles before you should wrinkle...Neutrogena, Basis, Aveeno, all gentle soaps....Keri (fragrance free, oil free lotion)

Scrubbing your face actually makes it more oily by stimulating the oil glands on your face...so being gentle does more good than facials...If i have oily skin what kind of facial would be best for me?
The best facial would be something containing clay, because it absorbs oil better.

Use neem leaves; either in a tea infusion or by applying them directly to your face as a paste with cold water, to tighten the pores and thereby decrease oil secretion. If you're going to apply it as a mask, try mixing it with cold cucumbers to cut the oil and soften the skin.

Witch hazel is a natural astringent and skin toner, and it isn't as harsh on the skin as alcohol is.

Burt's Bees has a baby powder that you can use to dust on your face to help absorb any excess moisture quickly, and it's very gentle.

Also, sea salt is a wonderful, natural cure for almost all health issues. Mix it up with a dash of hot water and some tea tree oil to exfoliate and balance the oily complexion of your skin.

    Hope this helps.
    Try witch hazel. It works.
Try washing your face 3 times a day with soap

Make sure you stop eatting oily foods.

If you have pimples, buy a really good face cream. Doctor, ask your doctor.

Drink a lot of green tea, the real stuff. Lots of anti-oxidants which is good for the skin.

I hope you find your desired appearance :]
    My suggestions to you are:

1.Wash your face with water at least thrice a day.

    2. Choose only that skin care products having minimum preservatives, colourings and other additives

    3. Do not use toners. Most of them are alcohol based and are not recommended for sensitive skin.

    4. Avoid excessive exposure to sun. Apply sunscreen lotion before getting out in the sun.

    5. Avoiding exposure to dust and other pollutants is also important for sensitive skin care. So, cover yourself adequately before going out.

    6. Use soap-free and alcohol free cleansers. Cleanse your face whenever you return from spending time out doors.
There are many soaps for it

    Consult a skin doctor

ppl who have really used this product ........can reply. How good is the new lacto calamine for dry skin?which has the green cap.is it oily ?
Hai, It's really a good moisturiser. I bought it because original version dried my skin too much. Mine is a normal to dry skin. This one is good for first few hours then the skin becomes shiny and a bit oily. It'll be very good for people with extreme dry skin. But if your intention is to just protect your skin from dryness and pollution you may go for it.How good is the new lacto calamine for dry skin?which has the green cap.is it oily ?
yaa i used it..though i hv a acne prone skin i used..i used it, actually itz a light moisturiser not meant for those who hv very dry skin..as i hv oily skin, in summer i used lacto calamine with a purple cap n in winter i used l.c with green cap...
It is really a good moisturiser. It is good to work on dry skins. It gives a great protection frrom pollution dust. But you should apply it every 3-4 hrs.

How do i control oily face and dry skin. am using clear essence cream oil and olay soap?

i have black spots on my legs and little pinple on my face. How do i control oily face and dry skin. am using clear essence cream oil and olay soap?
doesn't matter what brand you use. just wash your skin regularly with a (hypoallergenic) soap and water. avoid eating greasy foods. get a good amount of sleep. really works miracles. How do i control oily face and dry skin. am using clear essence cream oil and olay soap?
    dove and oil of olay
wash ur face 5 times aday .dry it completly. then use a oil free lotion
Try using a ';primer'; underneath your makeup - it will make your skin matte and also fill pores. You won't look greasy anymore.
I have the exact same problem. My suggestion is using the same products that i do and in this order. At night, i wash my body once with Dove White soap. Also i wash my face with the same. Don't apply any moisturizers. the dove has a balance of exfoliants and moisturizers for skin. then wash again with a loufa sponge and Dove moisturizing body wash. Don't put the body wash on your face. Anyway dry completely. lotion your legs with Jergen's cherry almond lotion or anything from Bath and Body Works. Use a regular cotton pillow case to sleep on. It will soak up most of the facial moisture. In the morning, wash you face again with the dove soap. this process, if continued should yeild results in less than a week. Also, try to avoid greasy hair gels and products. they add moisture to your face.

There are a lot of home products that can help your skin - begin by using warm water and lemon or cucumber to clean it, but don't scrub. Then you can apply various home remedies. You need to also ensure that you avoid fatty, oily food and drink plenty of water - at least 6-8 glasses a day. There are plenty of home remedies on my site if you want to look at it.

If you have oily skin...which foods should you be avoiding?

apart from the obvious greasy foods! If you have oily skin...which foods should you be avoiding?
Any kind of food affecting your complexion is 100% myth.

    Ask any dermatologist.

The myth with greasy foods causing acne started because ppl dont realize how much they touch their face, even while eating greasy foods. Its the contact from greasy hands that causes acne, not greasy foods in the digestional tract. If you have oily skin...which foods should you be avoiding?
I have oily skin and there are no foods that you can avoid that will make your skin less oily. Your best bet is to get into a good skin routine. Make sure that the products that you buy are for oily skin; if you pick up products that are for a different skin type like dry then it's going to make your skin want to moisten and will only speed up your oil glands. Another tip, stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water, not diet soda or juice, but water. Good Luck!!!
foods really shouldn't affect your skin in that way even the obvious greasy ones

just make sure your drinking water and washing your face twice a day and at the end of washing your face splash it with cold water
No foods make your skin more oily. Try using a face wash designed for oily skin and also use an oil control moisturiser.
Food doesn't really have any affect on the complexion of your skin type.
I don't think what you eat would effect your skin type in any way so i dont think you need to avoid any
idkk, just eat crackers, and fruits.

  • I have really oily skin. Will facial moisturizer help?

yes. you need to use a moisturizer made for oily skin. what happens is when your skin is not properly hydrated it produces sebum(oil) to moisturize itself. using moisturizer will reduce the oil in your skin significantly. clinique makes a great moisturizing gel for oily skin.I have really oily skin. Will facial moisturizer help?
Nooo! Moisturizer is for people when your have dry or regular skin because it helps keep your skin fresh and mosturized.

If you have oily skin, i recommend using a toner after washing your face day %26amp; night. During the day if your skin is oily also, you can try oil blotting sheets, which you can buy at a drugstore or Sephora.I have really oily skin. Will facial moisturizer help?
    umm probably astringent.

    soaks the oil up

    (:
Moisturizer will make it worse !! Just wash your face with Dove soap and rinse with lukecool water, Pat dry. That is all you need to do !!!! The more products you use the worse you will make it !!
yeah because your face wont have a rebound affect of producing more oil.. the more you dry out your skin the more rebound affect of producing oil
Not really. If you want something to wash your face with, its important to get something that is oil free. Also, when you put on makeup, try other ones that don't have much oil in them. You might want to try something that will take away the oil.
Try the tips in the source to deal with the oily skin, should be good for you in the long run.
u probably have oily skin, because ur drying it out too much. let me explain

when a person doesnt moisturize or uses a drying face wash. their skin gets very dry. and when skin gets dry it will freak out and produce oil to try to moisterize itself, witch means u will get pimples, so just use a mild cleanser and remember to moisturize and ur skin wont produce so much oil.
That's like adding fuel to a fire. Look for products that help with oily skin types. And you can go to www.carolsdaughter.com they have great products for your skin type.
not really, you need to get something for oily skin, something that will dry up all the oil.
believe it or not, oilily skin needs moisturize, too. just put on a little bit.

How to get rid of oily skin?

kk get a lemon cut it in half and sqeeze the juice out in a bowl an rub that lemon on ur face and leave it on for 15 mins wash it wuth cold water aan use the juice as a toner overnight. How to get rid of oily skin?
Please listen to this answer and your life will change! I have been pleged with oily skin since I was a teen, I am now 26. 15 min after putting on my makeup my fave would be shiney.

I am not someone who does ';home remedies'; or is a believer in homeopathic stuff but I listened to someone and got some Milk of Magnesia, it can be generic. It changed my life via my self esteem. It will cost about 3 dollars and last for months. You just put it on a cotton ball and rub it on your face thinly and let it dry. Then put on your makeup. Your face will look like you just put your makeup on for 6 hours or more!

After trying it a couple days of using it I tried not using it for a day and oh my gosh I realized how unbelievable it was. I will never go another day in my life without using it.

Oh and get regular unless you want to smell minty :c) If you put it on too thick you might get some white streaks, just rub it away and then put on your makeup. It has also helped my acne to clear up also. How to get rid of oily skin?
buy some noxzema pads its under $5 at walmart, kerr, Walgreen's, or even family dollar or dollar general. i use the pads 2 times a day and it comes with 90 pads (it will keep your skin pimple free and get rite of all the oil)
first of all i thing your putting to much water on your face because too much water can cause the skin to get irritated and produce Morrie oil. if not wash your skin twice a day.

Wat is the best product for oily nd acne prone skin??

I want to know wat are the right cleansers, toners and moisturisers for my acne skin(preferably under $$)..and do i need to scrub every day? as i hav sensitive skin.Wat is the best product for oily nd acne prone skin??
Since you have sensitive skin, do not use a scrub daily. Use it once or twice a week.

As for products, consider ones w/ salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.

My favorite salicylic acid face wash is Aveeno Positively Clear Daily Cleansing Pads. The pads have a smooth side %26amp; a textured side for extra exfoliation. The cleanser gets rid of oil w/o drying out my skin.

Oxy10 Face Wash is a good product. It can be drying if used every day. I use it as needed - whenever my skin feels extra oily or I'm breaking out.

BTW, I have sensitive, combination skin %26amp; am prone to breakouts.Wat is the best product for oily nd acne prone skin??
pro active it is expensive but youll save money in the long run by not buying crap
I use to use St. Ives (I think) sensitive apricot face scrub.
i just use Clean and Clear for sensitive skin. it's cheap, mild and it works for me. you can also try Cetaphil!

those two products works for me. it cost me a lot of money to find which ones would work for my skin. basically trial and error.
    Glytone. Best. Stuff. Ever.

It cleared my skin in a week, and now, 4 months later, I still have crystal clear skin! It's not cheap, but it's worth it, and it works. There is obviously no cheap over-the-counter skin product or everyone would have clear skin. This is formulated with glycolic acid, and it will transform your skin to brand new. It's amazing, I suspect it's a celebrity secret.

You can buy it online, at a dermatologist's office who carries the line, or at a cosmedical spa. I found it through yahoo local by typing in glytone.

ps- the first week will be irritating (some burning and stinging) while your skin builds a tolerance for glycolic acid, but it's worth it.

Also, I've had the same two bottles (mild gel wash and rejuvinate lotion step 1) for four months and they're not empty. So in the long run, it's only going to cost you about $10 per month, therefore not expensive. =)
When my son got skin rashes, my derma recommended Cetaphil or Physiogel Soap, but it's a little expensive. But you can also use baby soap or any mild soap. You should not scrub your skin, it will only irritate your skin. For your acne skin, I also recommend Dr. Kauffman sulfur soap. You can use it everyday and a lot cheaper than cetaphil. My son is now using it and it works.
i use asap product range. it has been developed for acne /oil combo skin. cleansers around $39 but you get 200 ml. Clear spot gel is $27 and trust me it works! I use it as night treatment. The products have been scientifically tested at Dermal Institute in Australia. Check out the website worth reading about and breakdown of what is in the product which is helpful to know!

    Concealer for oily skin?

    Hi!

I have oily skin and and its more oily on the nose. And I have some faint marks and blemishes on my cheek.

Can you please suggest what kind of concealer/foundation should I use?

And can you also please tell me whats is the difference between concealers and foundation and which one is better to hide the marks on the face?!

    Thanks!Concealer for oily skin?
    try mineral concealer

    from everydayminerals.com

they have a sample kit and you only pay for shipping.Concealer for oily skin?
Concealer is generally just used for covering spots and blemishes, whereas foundation is all over face make up. You should look specifically for foundations that are matte (i.e. Rimmel Stay Matte for a cheaper one, Clinique Matte for more expensive)

    That is the key word.
    get everyday minerals, it's amazing
my mom sells this line called ';All Clear'; or ';Beauty Controll'; and it has makeup and face gel and washes and stuff like that. you can find them online at www.beautipage.com it works really well to!
Concealer has more pigments than foundation. That means that it can give a lot more coverage with a very small amount. This is what you would use to cover up marks. It should be just a bit lighter than your foundation color. If it's difficult to find a good color, you can mix in a little bit of your foundation.

Foundation is used to help even out your skin tone. It can be applied before or after concealer (I usually apply it after concealer). A good foundation will also help protect your skin from pollutants in the environment.

For your oily skin, make sure that your cleanser and moisturizer are formulated for oily skin. It always has to start with good and proper skin care.

For any concealer, after applying, dust it with a little bit of loose powder (can be sheer powder, a loose powder that matches your foundation, or even just baby powder). That will help the concealer to set before you apply foundation.

Mineral powder foundations might be something you want to consider. They're very lightweight, and help control oil.

For a specific brand, I highly recommend Mary Kay. It's very high quality products for an affordable price. You can work with a Mary Kay Consultant to find the perfect colors before you buy. That way there's no fuss with returning and repurchasing to find the right shades. Go to http://www.marykay.com to look for a consultant in your area.
for foundation, Revlon Colorstay for oily skin (they have 3 types, for normal, dry %26amp; oily skin).

Foundation is for giving the face a more even finish %26amp; to smooth out uneven colorings.

Concealer is to hide small imperfections %26amp; under eye dark circles, I have never seen a concealer for specific skins, but I guess the liquid (brush, cream ones) are for drier skins %26amp; sticks (non-liquid ones) etc for oilier ones. I donot know which one to suggest but I'd go round trying different brands %26amp; see which one looks good or suits your skin tone. I use Bourjois brush concealer but I doubt it's good for oiler skins.

PS%26gt; I haven't tried this one, but have heard Rimmel Hide the Blemish is good. Test it %26amp; see whether it works.

puberty will prevail..until you get past itHow to get ride of oily skin?
It's something you will have to manage. No one-time treatment will do the trick. Do not use a moisturizer as that will make things worse. This gal has been on Oprah. I've read her books (available at a library) and they have helped my skin. Here's a link on oily skin and another on more common questions.

    Good luck!

Can lemon be applied on oily skin ?

why would you want to do that? Can lemon be applied on oily skin ?
Lemon is too harsh to be applied directly to skin- it will burn it and make it red.

For oily skin, you should switch to a gentle/sensitive formula skin cleanser. Then your skin will be less angry about life and produce less sebum. Can lemon be applied on oily skin ?
yeah, but not a whole lemon, just a teaspoon of lemon juice and a little of honey can be applied to an oily skin, when its semi-dry,clean your face with water.
witch hazel is an astringent for oily skin that has been around for a long long time because it works as well as the expensive stuff, but it's pretty cheap.....it's what i've always used......i don't reccomend lemon...
yes,, it will lighten up freckles, heel acne, very good for your face and hair,,if your hair is light,,
yeah but it might blister your face abit. suppose to help acne.

Best skincare product for oily & ageing skin?

Just want to know if anyone can think of any product thats really good to help fight ageing but look after oily skin at the same time. I've tried a few products but I think I'll get advice before trying any more. I know foaming facial washes are good for oily skin but I haven't found one thats worked either. Any ideas?Best skincare product for oily %26amp; ageing skin?
Two words.... Time Defiance!! You need to use Artistry Time Defiance Skin care system Combination-to-Oily skin. I had/have great results in balancing my skin and making my skin healthy. The system is made with natural ingredients and no animal testing. The systems come with a cleanser, toner, and lotion specifically for oily skin and also comes with a Night Recovery Lotion. My husband uses the products as well and it has made him look much younger. Go to Arcameda.com and type combination in the search box on the site for details on these products and how to get them. You will have younger, balanced skin before you know it. Hope all is well.Best skincare product for oily %26amp; ageing skin?
I have the same problem and find that a light moisturizer for combination skin works best. Almost every brand at any cost level has them. Drier areas may require ';spot moisturizing'; with a heavier moisturizer. Washing every night and morning with real soap helps. Good Luck!

I have oily skin how can I fix it?

my color is dark tanI have oily skin how can I fix it?
use himalaya face wash for oily skin.its too gud.thn use a toner-lakme its awesome and an oil free moisturiser like clinique.follow the basic regime-cleansing,toning and moisturising and be sure to apply an oil free sunscreen prefrably having matte effect.also lakme matte effect gel is really gud.i have oily skin and i do the same and my face doesnt look oily or greasy.I have oily skin how can I fix it?
You know, it's not a bad thing to have oily skin because it don't age as quickly as dry skin. You don't want to use anything to try and strip the skin or to try and dry it out as this will cause the skin to over react and stimulate the glands that produce the oil, making the matter worse. This oil is called sebum and it's your skins natural defense. My advice is stay away from products which are oil based and carry a light powder with you to blot away the shine. Egg whites are good face mask too.
You can't stop having oily skin. its genetic. However you can ease the oil production by using good toners such as lemon juice or witch hazel. Don't use so many products on your face and forget about using way to much make up. plus try to go for a lightweight moisturizer. Our skin doesn't need to much oil, we have enough. (I have oily skin too)

You try getting oil blot sheets if you wish. our you can use noxzema. I use the plain old kind when I am lazy to make my own cleanser.

    Eyeliner for oily skin?

I like to put eyeliner on the bottom of my eye, the problem is I have oily skin so it doesn't stay on the waterline(which is where I want it). I was wondering if maybe kajol or something like that will stay on the waterline without coming off.Eyeliner for oily skin?
If you mean right underneath the lash line, I suggest putting an eyeshadow base on before applying the eyeliner.

You can use white to create a smokey effect, nude to show the eyeliner only, or black to make it look much darker.

Just use the tip of a regular eyeshadow brush to put it on. (:

I have oily skin, and I need a fondation that will work best for me. One that wont have me break out, and will help me to not look like a grease pot in my face later throughout the day. And is under $15 or so.

I use Covergirl Trublend powder. The POWDER! Not the liquid!

Also, use oil absorbing sheets, which you can get basically anywhere... in the skincare isle.

You can use facial powder(MAC)But it's expensive. Try any kind of facial powder.

    Moisturizer For Oily Skin?

I need a good quality Drugstore moisturizer that is non-comedegenic, won't clog my pores, NON-OIL BASED, or cause breakouts. Any suggestions?

    Thanks Beauties!Moisturizer For Oily Skin?

    Makeup for oily skin?

I have oily skin and no foundation, powder or concealer have worked for me. And for example 2-3 hours after I have done my eye makeup it'll ';run'; or w/e to say, the same with the mascaras I've used.

Do you know any waterproof mascaras that ACTUALLY works

and foundations, powder and concealer for oily skin? And something

that stop eye makeup from ';running';?Makeup for oily skin?
For all your makeup not to run, crease or fade during the day use a primer. I use Smashbox's light primer and it's amazing! It controls oil and keeps make up in place.(Over all face use)

For your eye makeup to not run or crease I use Urban Decay Primer Potion. It's amazinnggg!

As for concealer I use Kat Von D's tattoo concealer I think it's called it works well to conceal spots or blemishes not all over your face.

For foundation/powder I use Clinique's Stay Matte Sheer Pressed powder. It's oil free and great for people with oily skin.

For face stuff I would NOT reccomend drug store brands simply because most are oil based and are horrible for your skin.

The only drug store thing I would reccomend is Cover Girl's Waterproof Lash Blast it's amazing! it stays on whether you rub it, walk in rain, cry, the only way I can get it off is with a good makeup remover.

Also moisturize your skin! Even if it's oily because oil and moisture are two separate things.

Hope I helped, these are the things that worked for my oily skin personally so it might work different for you. Good luck!Makeup for oily skin?
I use Avon water proof, rub proof, smudge proof, and basically just everything proof, and it works well on me.

Foundations, I have oily skin too and I use the Body Shop's Oil Free foundation, I like it, but don't use too much, it can actually dry your skin, so moisturize well before use.

For everything else (powder, concealer) just get mineral, or oil free. They sell stuff like that at most drugstores.

You should use an eye primer before you put eye makeup on, it makes it last longer, and tens to not droop, or run.

If you don't have any, or don't want to buy any, here's a good tutorial to make some, I'v made it and it works pretty well.
