Oily skin after 4 hours?

After putting on foundation, 4 hours later, my face gets shiny and oily. I hate reapplying powder and whipping out blotting papers. Is there any product that I can use before I put on my makeup, like a primer, that would PREVENT my face from getting shiny throughout the day?Oily skin after 4 hours?

I have very oily skin as well, especially at a *certain time* of the month. I noticed that the more products I used for oily skin, the more irritated and oily it got.

My skin does the same thing. I use Oil of Olay Complete moisture for sensitive skin, and let it absorb into my skin before I apply my bare minerals makeup. One of my friends with oily skin was surprised when I told her the moisturizer actually helps control oil. If you don't put any on, your skin has to CREATE more oil to moisturize your skin! So, if you're not using a moisturizer, please start. :) (I still use the Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing sheets.)
Try to buy make up for oily skin. Unfortunately you just have over active oil glands. I found during the summer time, or tanning bed seems to help dry out my skin. It's a losing battle. The silver lining though, due to your oily skin it retains moisture, so when you get older, you will keep the youthful appearance.
